Since Averie finished the first temple, she had a lot of time on her hands before the next temple would reveal itself. She spent a lot of this time uncovering and authenticating artifacts. This did not distract her, however, from thinking about what the Humanitarian Helpers people had said about other teams.
After awhile, Averie became lonely and needed a little human interaction. She met Gabriel at the cantina.
The second temple opened up and was fully explored.
Averie found the museum in Selvadora and fell in love with it. It also had a computer, which would prove to be useful. It was here that she video chatted with the Humanitarian Helpers and got the answers to all her questions:
1. Yes, there was one other team out there doing similar things as she was.
2. It was the hope of the organization that these two teams would be able to accomplish ALL the goals set forth in the Mission Statement. This meant that each person would most likely be responsible for at least two projects.
3. Contact information was exchanged between Averie and Brennan, current leader of the Bravo Team. They could now interact directly. They would need to coordinate which projects would be done by whom.
All this information was enough for Averie to realize that she was going to need lots of Potion of Youths to get this gig sorted. So on 1st Fall, Day 1 (Day 29), she took her first potion.
Gabriel has called non-stop asking for dates. Averie finally invited him over to her rental.
Let’s just say things got a little steamy. Averie was starting to have 2nd thoughts about Gabriel. She had thought he would just be a tension reliever, however, he was so nice! She didn’t want to string him along, and the life of an artifact finder was not for everyone.
A couple days after Averie had told Gabriel that they weren’t going to work out, he called and pleaded with her to please meet him at the Ancient Ruins.
Deciding that it was time to end this first trip in Selvadora, Averie decided to see what Gabriel had to say.
Gabriel told Averie that he didn’t care how hard her job was, or that she would be away for long periods of time. She was IT for him, and he would take whatever part of her she could give. Averie told him how sweet he was, but that she would need to take some time to think about it. She told him that they would never be allowed to truly live together because she was going to have to live with her eventual team of Heroes.
Since she was home from Selvadora, Averie needed to get started on the museum in Sulani. She needed to unload the artifacts she had, since it was killing her bills.
Once Averie put the authenticated artifacts in the cases, the people just started showing up to look at them! It was amazing!
Averie also decided to build a vault room to store all the uncovered and unauthenticated pieces until she had time to work on them.
Averie was getting restless again, and decided to head back to the jungle. This time there were more people around, which made her nervous, wondering if any of them were the thieves.
Gabriel heard that Averie was back in town…and well…you know!
Everytime Averie and Gabriel were together it was like the Grand Finale of the 4th of July! Averie decided that this must mean something, and so she decided to give Gabriel a chance.
Averie has made a few relics…this one she wants to use a bit before putting into the museum.
12 Hours of no needs decay, AND people are afraid of her and leave her alone? SOLD!!!
She’s even using the relic at home to get some good time in uncovering and authenticating. She has 14/16 on the artifacts, and 8/13 treasures found (I think…)
Since Averie is spending so much time at the museum, she decided to move back to her old lot in Sulani. This is a house she found in the online gallery.
Gabriel really likes taking Averie out on dates to the Ancient Ruins. Yes, he is slapping her behind to get her moving into the love bushes (I never noticed this interaction before.)
You may barely be able to tell here, but Averie and Gabriel are expecting a new hero.
Gabriel is shocked about the news for a second, but seemed to be happy. Averie also gave him a key to the house so he can use it whenever he is in town.
